Privacy Policy

This policy explains what Agent Arena (operated by MadLabs) collects, why, and who we share it with. Questions? Email gabriele.olivari@outlook.com.

1. What we collect

Account data — your email address and a hashed password. We never store your password in plain text.
Usage data — the comparisons you run, votes you cast, your credit balance and a ledger of charges, and basic technical logs (e.g. approximate request counts for rate-limiting and abuse prevention).
Content you submit — the prompts and tasks you send to models, and the outputs generated for you.
Payment data — handled entirely by Stripe. We receive confirmation of a payment and a plan status; we never see or store your full card details.

Prompts leave our servers. When you run a live comparison, your prompt is sent to third-party AI providers (see below) to generate the response. Please don’t include confidential, sensitive, or personal information in prompts you run live.

2. Who we share it with (processors)

AI model providers — OpenRouter and the underlying model vendors, which receive your prompt to produce live outputs, subject to their own terms and privacy policies.
Stripe — to process payments and manage subscriptions.
Hosting — our application and database are hosted on Render.
Email — a transactional email provider is used to send account emails such as password resets.

We don’t sell your personal data, and we don’t use your private prompts to train our own models.

3. Public scorecards

If you choose to Publish a scorecard, the task, prompts, and model outputs it contains become publicly accessible to anyone with the link and may appear in the community leaderboard. Votes are recorded anonymously and aggregated into model ratings. Don’t publish anything you want to keep private.

4. Cookies & local storage

We use your browser’s local storage to keep you signed in (a session token), remember your theme preference, and hold your Arena session. We don’t use third-party advertising or cross-site tracking cookies.

5. Retention

We keep account and usage data while your account is active and as needed to operate the Service, meet legal obligations, and prevent abuse. Published scorecards persist until removed. You can ask us to delete your account and associated data at any time.

6. Your rights

Depending on your jurisdiction, you may have the right to access, correct, export, or delete your personal data, and to object to certain processing. To exercise any of these, email gabriele.olivari@outlook.com and we’ll respond within a reasonable time.

7. Children

The Service isn’t directed at children and isn’t intended for anyone below the age of digital consent in their jurisdiction.

8. Changes

We may update this policy as the Service evolves. Material changes will be reflected by the “Last updated” date above.
